As children of God, we have the privilege of going boldly to His throne in prayer. The Bible tells us, “You have not because you do not ask.” God is not some cosmic genie who can be bossed around; yet He instructs us to ask for what we want, because He desires to provide for us and bless us. Don’t hint, don’t wish, just pray. Remember, God likes to hear “please” and “thank you,” too.
